Pistons on the inner side of the caliper pushes the brake pad onto the rotor, to push the rotor itself. Since the rotor cannot slide, the outer side of the caliper takes the pushing force and slides outward. The outer pads also press against the rotor face in order to slow or stop the Atv.
The most common sign that your rotors are going bad is noise. If the rotors are warped meaning not perfectly flat or severely worn, they may produce squealing or squeaking sounds. Usually, warped rotors will produce a squeak, while severely worn rotors will produce a scraping sound.

Master Cylinder holds brake fluid and acts as a pumping device to pressurize the brake lines, activating the brake calipers and bring you to a stop. So it’s Important that you check often the brake fluid levels in your reservoirs on the hydraulic systems
Over time the seals inside of the cylinder can wear out and form internal leaks. A bad brake master cylinder may result in a pedal that feels mushy, spongy, or that slowly sinks to the floor when depressed. Common signs that your master cylinder is wearing are faulty brakes, abnormal brake pedal behavior, contaminated brake fluid.
